East West Pysicians - Dr. Dong Hua      DR. DONG HUA, A.P., DOM (MD CHINA) has more than twenty years of experience in chinese Medicine. He graduated and then became a professor of Chinese Medicine in Shanghai TCM University in China. After leaving China he spent nine years in Israel teaching in Ben Gurion University and helping people in pain and cancer treatment as the director of Chinese Medicine at the famed Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem. Dr. Dong Hua is currently a professor of Chinese Medicine at Atlantic Traditional Oriental Medicine College in Fort Lauderdale, FL and now sees patients at East West Physicians.

In Israel Dr. Dong Hua created the first program for Chinese Manual Therapy (TUINA) in the US and trained 1000′s of doctors in this ancient method of Massage Therapy. In Shaare Zedek Hospital Dr. Dong created the first programs for using Acupuncture Anesthesia to reduce or eliminate the need for traditional anesthetic drugs and lead a comprehensive study for the use of Chinese Medicine to treat cancer. Dr. Dong Hua specializes in pain management and cancer treatment side affects. He also graduated with a master of business administration from Northeastern University.

 

East West Physicians - Dr Yap   RAYWYN YAP A. P., LMT is a Licensed Acupuncturist & Massage Therapist practicing in South Florida. Dr. Yap is Board Certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) & National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB). She is also a member of the Florida State Oriental Medical Association (FSOMA).

Dr. Yap encountered acupuncture while practicing as a massage therapist when she began experiencing cramping and arthritic pain in her hands. After just one treatment she had signifiant improvement. She then decided to further her education and persuaded a career in Traditional Chinese Medicine, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science and a Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine from the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

While in school she started to receive infertility treatments. Dr. Yap had such incredible results with the acupuncture treatments, herbs & diet, that she was very fortunate to become pregnant within a few months. This is where her passion came from to specialize in Women’s health. Treating patients with different ailments such as: infertility, muscular pain to migraines with acupuncture, auricular acupuncture, herbs, cupping,                                                                                                                      moxibustion, massage and injection therapy.

Thomas Corbin LaC, Pa, Ph

Thomas Corbin is an Acupuncture Physician specializing in AuricularAcupuncture and currently heads the Veterans Affairs (VA) Hospital Chronic Pain Acupuncture Program,the first program of its type in the VA system. He is also on the Board of Directors of the Auriculotherapy Certification Institute and received his advanced trainings n China and Germany. Following an introduction to German Auricular Medicine, Dr. Corbin has researched and specialized in the use of that system for pain and addiction. Dr. Corbin has taught ear acupuncture at medical universities, chiropractic colleges and abroad. He has done research in auricular techniques in drug court settings and for the treatment for the treatment of HCV / HIV, and is a NationalTrainer for the National Acupuncture Detox Association (NADA). Dr. Corbin currently is a consultant in the teaching and use of low level laser therapy in the ear microsystem.
