Ear infections account for more visits to a medical practitioner’s office than any other illness.
Majority of children will have their first ear infection before their first birthday, while two thirds will have had one or more by the age of three.
Ear infections can be bacterial or viral in nature. Most of the time antibiotics are administered for the ear infection, but what most parents don’t realize is that if the infection is viral the antibiotics are useless! Not to mention that antibiotics encourage the growth of antibiotic-resistant bacteria with reoccurring infections and more antibiotics administered.
Many parents have found that the number and frequency of ear infections in their children decreased following chiropractic adjustments. The chiropractic adjustment administered to the child is performed by a gentle, low force pressure allowing the misalignment to be corrected and normal function restored.
